The Hermit Archives is a crossover AU created by @chrisriin and features the Hermitcraft (and adjacent MCYT) characters and personalities in The Magnus Archives setting. There is no set canon to the AU, and anyone who participates is at liberty to place characters and events in any role and in alignment with any faction they choose.
While this AU does not involve any of The Magnus Archives's characters, the AU can spoil elements of its worldbuilding and general plot beats. Therefore, The Magnus Archives podcast is recommended listening before exploring the AU, but is not by any means necessary for enjoying or understanding it.

From the Archives is a fanfic series on AO3 set in the Hermit Archives AU and written by Sixteenthdays in the style of The Magnus Archives, with an ongoing plot running through connected one-shot statements. It follows Grian, new Head Archivist at the V.O.I.D. Insitute, with Pearl, Scar, Impulse and Mumbo as his assistants, as they sort through stories from a collection of familiar faces.
